Q.Once the ESR Beta file is copied then pasted to MC0 does that mean that upon starting up the PS2 with the Memory Card in that ESR Beta will start automatically?
@GUNSonicdh6 No it will boot to ulaunch.elf first then by going to the MC0 then you can run it from there .

@u320017 I assure you though this tutorial works though i have had hundreds of people tell me so before and in fact the other day i did this on my friends ps2 and it worked like a charm if he is having problems he should just tell me them and i can try to help to the best of my knowledge.

And I wasnt paying attenion the whole time but could you just download the game files online and still be able to play them on your ps2 not needing original disk?

Hey, man. I realize that by now this video is old news to you and you probably get tired of being asked questions, let alone stupid questions. I’m not sure if this has already been asked but is this worth doing? What I mean is, is it a big pain in the ass? It doesn’t really look too hard, but uhh…does this work with all games? I’ve heard some have problems or just don’t work at all. I’m thinking about doing this and if its really effective I will. Thanks.
@theadvermethod It works with most games i heard a very few games dont work i would google an esr beta compatibility list but most games work.

this may be a stupid question and thanks in advance for answering, in fact, thanks for still answering peoples questions after all this time the video has been out but uh…to do this with codebreaker in order to play burned games, do i just take the cbs files from the pack on the site and put them on a USB and it just magically works? transfering the codebreaker files to memory card then following the next steps…putting the files on usb then into ps2 it just reads it? i need nothing else?
just a quick FYI. the reason why im asking the question that i just asked is because one, i dont have a ps2 currently but im going to get one once im sure about softmodding it. two i never used a USB for ps2 but to clarify, im guessing youre saying put the cbs files on a usb, plug it into the ps2 phat and it’ll recognize it and give me the option to transfer the files to the memory card…then continue with the next steps?
im lost i need alot of help
